I am a writer, photographer, and lifelong learner. I enjoy finding and telling stories. I even joined the local newspaper to expand my writing experience. Oh, and while I’m throwing out interesting tidbits, I do a little website building too. I even dabbled in municipal politics by filling a vacant City Council seat. What conclusion should you draw about my diverse experiences?
I have an overwhelming drive to learn new things. Constantly. It’s my biggest strength.
I read voraciously, but intermittently. I have project cars and writing projects, but also enjoy getting my hands dirty with home projects. When I’ve had the opportunity to lead, I’m not just a “boss”, I treat everyone that works with me with respect.
When I write professionally, I balance the competing needs to be creative and professional. I write with as much voice as desired by my employer, but I’ve also cultivated the ability to work quickly, without struggling with writer’s block.
